For over 100 years, children’s laughter has been heard at Bigham Knoll. Our central location in historic Jacksonville is within walking distance to four parks, the library, the firehouse, the Britt Gardens, local stores and a market, and the Beekman Trails. The Little Pioneers School House includes four classrooms, three outdoor spaces, a pond, a gymnasium and our favorite outdoor space, the bell tower. Students are able to safely explore and play in all of these spaces throughout their day. Rain or shine we have plenty of space to be active.

Our School strives to be an active member of the wonderful Jacksonville community. We teach our children community through participation in the City’s many festivals, celebrations and parades. We actively visit Seniors at Pioneer village, seek to help those less fortunate, and build a bond of friendship and caring in the classroom.
